Delivery [videorecording] : artist mothers on tape / produced by Elizabeth MacKenzie.
Thirty participants at a symposium for artist mothers speak candidly about the complex relationship between their mothering and art making practices. Their thoughtful statements represent a range of concerns and considerations about the combination of these multiple roles. Images of water are interspersed between talking heads, allowing the viewer time to reflect between each speaker. The statements were recorded during Mentoring Artist's for Women Art's "First Person Plural Symposium", held in Winnipeg, May 2000.
