Summary: In 2017, British Columbia experienced its worst wildfire season in its history. At its height 45,000 people were forced to flee their homes and more than 900,000 hectares were burning. This item looks at B.C.'s summer of the wildfire and examines the role that climate change is playing in terms of longer fire seasons and what it means for future generations.
